After 31 years of teaching Visual Arts in the Margate School system, I retired in October of 2023 to focus on our horse business. Since that time I have continued to instruct Art via Paint Parties off site with exception of a gap in 2024 while I battled breast cancer. I am proud to be a survivor and am back pursuing both of my passions, Art and Horses.
I have recently set up a quaint Art studio here on our farm with a few wheels, a kiln and a variety of art supplies for hosting groups for art parties in different mediums. As of November 2025 I am very excited to offer private and small group art instruction, as well as Paint and Sip parties here at Sterling Stables in addition to offsite!

We hosted a great group of local ladies here at Sterling Stables. They brought some Christmas cheer along with snacks, drinks and fresh baked goods. There were lots of smiles and laughs as I guided them through painting a wintery cardinal.

I had the privilege to host and instruct a Paint and Sip for my former colleagues from Margate Schools. Some retired and some still in the classroom, the teachers had a great time laughing, painting, and man did they bring some incredible apps and cocktails! Can't wait to do it again for you all!

Our first Paint and Sip held here at Sterling Stables!
We hosted our first paint and sip here at the farm on Nov 2! It was a fun night with a great group of veterinarians and staff from Absecon Veterinary Hospital! The group brought plenty of apps to share and a cooler of cheer :)!
I think all the critters and horses enjoyed the evening as much as the participants!

Paint and Sip at Field and Flock Lavender Farm
What a beautiful night! The event was sold out and a wonderful experience! Groups brought snacks and beverages and enjoyed a guided painting of beautiful lavender by STG Arts . We were surrounded by fields of beautiful lavender and served complimentary lavender spritzers! The farm is magnificent and offers a variety of lavender items at their gift shop as well!

Candles & Canvas' at Finley Candles
Another fun filled night at Finley Candles! Our winter mittens Galentine paint night was paired perfectly with the second snow storm of the season. Participants braved the stormy weather and made 2 of their own custom candles, followed by a Valentine's winter painting guided by me, STG Arts ! Stay tuned for the next event with Finley Candles!
