BARCELONA was born in the Netherlands, and showed up to the 1.5 meters. She competed in Germany and Belgium before coming to the US in 2016. She has had a successful career in the jumpers and most recently has been being teaching the ropes to a Junior rider in the in the 1.0-1.3 meter classes. She is a wonderfully mannered mare, with much ridability and should produce some talented offspring with an amateur friendly disposition. |

Carthago Z had a very illustrious show jumping carrier winning many grand prix`s as well as competing in 15 Nations Cups, in 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Carthago Z finished 11th place individually along with rider Jos Lansink, the pair competed for Holland in there second Olympics at the Sydney Olympic games.
Barcelona's dam Couleur Fama Sr Z showed up to 1.5 m in Ireland and was sired by the great Couleur Rubin. Couleur Rubin won the 2010 CDI4* 1.50 meter Championat der Stadt in Basel, Switzerland, and placed second in the Masters League Final of Frankfurt, third in the Grand Prix of Neumünster, as well as fifth in the Show Jumping World Cup in Leipzig under the internationally successful rider, Ludger Beerbaum. They placed 2nd at the 2007 CSIO5* in St. Gallen and having wins in the 2007 Mercedes-Benz Champion at von Hamburg, the 2007 Lau Baule, the 2008 Munster CSI3* Preis Der Sparkasse, and double wins in the 2008 Verona Class 5 and Munich Lexus Hybrid Trophy. In 2009, they went on to more wins in Gothenburg and were second in the German National Championships in Munich.
