Approved by the Selle Français stud book at the age of 3, ERMITAGE moved afterwards to Belgium into Joris Van Dijck’s stables. He made his debut successfully during the PAVO CUP tour at 5yo, finishing 6th of the Stallion Championship.
Gilles THOMAS took over the ride in 2021 aiming at preparing him for the top sport. He placed during Opglabbeek, Valkenswaard and Lier CSI YH and ended the season highly noticed at Lanaken 7yo World Championships. In 2022, he made his debut in CSI 4 and 5* before being crowned Belgian Champion in 2023! Among his other notable performances:
  • - 5th in the CSI 5* GP in Mechelen
  • - 6th of GP 4* in Maastricht
  • - 2nd and 5th in 1,50m classes in Moerzeke CSI 4* 
  • - 6th in CSI 4*1,50m at Vejer de la Frontera
  • - 2nd in the Valkenswaard GP 2*  
  • - 3rd of 1,45m class during Brussels CSI 3*
  • - 5th of Open Sires of the World during Mechelen CSI 5*
  • - Winner of 1,40m GP in Turnhout

Dam: Cascara 22

Cascara  was born in Germany, Korschenbroich, and is a Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch States Premium mare. She has competed to 1.35m. 
She was imported to the US in 2016 and was very successful in the 7 yr old young jumpers before an injury as an 8 yr old. 
Cascara  has an absolutely wonderful demeanor. She is unflappable and kind and her babies are a reflection of her.  ​
