Cascara 22 was born in  Korschenbroich, Germany. At her Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch inspection she was awarded the status of  States Premium mare. See her video below!

Cascara competed in Germany before coming to the US in 2016 and has competed to 1.35m. She was a fierce competitor in the  young jumpers and was 4th in the 7 year old final in Lexington with a rail only in the final jump off.  She retired as an 8 yr old with an injury and became a broodmare. Her first foal from 2018, Diamant's Faith by Diamants Legacy is competing in the hunters as a 5 yr old. Her 2020 colt For Sox by For Edition is a full sibling to her 2024 intero foal. He is flashy, big and exceptional in every way. I am looking forward to his development and sharing his future success. 

​Cascara is sired by Cascari  who is by Cassini 1,  one of the most successful Holsteiner stallion of all time, siring many outstanding progeny. Cassini 1 himself is sired by Capitol I out of the mare Wisma who is a daughter of Caletto II.

​Cascara's dam Camile Z is sired by Caretano Z. Caretano Z showed tremendous talent at an early age  and had excellent results in age classes as a 5 year old and 6 year old. As a 7 year old Caretano Z won the world young horse championships in Lanaken with Jos Lansink, this combination went on to further success winning internationally.

Cascara has an absolutely wonderful demeanor. She is unflappable and kind. Her babies are a reflection of her disposition and athleticism. We are incredibly excited to add her to our breeding program!
