This beautiful black filly is by hunter legend Popeye K. Her name comes from the beautiful Onyx black stone, and Kay spelled out, honoring her sires breeders stamp. This sweet filly is an absolute love bug! She is black like her dam, with a very large star and 3 white socks! This filly should be a hunter breeding superstar. She is correct, tall and agile. Her stride is long and relaxed. She goes like a hunter already, swapping her leads effortlessly as she lopes around the field. She will be stunning as she matures.

Her sire Popeye K is 17h. He is by the great prolific show jumper Voltaire. Voltaire has long been known to produce some the nation’s best hunters, including PopeyeK. At the Atlanta Olympic Games Voltaire was the stallion with the most offspring competing. Voltaire’s jumper offspring include Concorde, Olinda, Vegas, Quarnak De Longpre and Triviant to name a few. Voltaires hunter offspring include Popeye K, High Cotton, Worthington, Solitaire, Moriah, Diamonds and Pearls, etc. .. Voltaire produces offspring of good character that are very sound with a great walk good trot and a great canter. They are very careful jumpers with a lot of scope. Popeye K has had great success in the show ring and as a sire. He is known for his jumping ability and great temperament and has produced several hundreds of foals that are now competing in the sport successfully.
